Pet-Friendly Grooming at a time to suit you!
I love working hands on with my clients' dogs (and cats!) in this way and making sure their time with me is as relaxed and stress-free as possible. Talking to them and stroking them regularly during the session helps calm and reassure them which is very important, as let's face it, being groomed is not something they normally enjoy....!

With your dog's welfare and comfort of utmost priority, I am strongly against the use of holding cages, therefore before and after the groom, my clients' dogs have the freedom of my lovely secure garden to sniff, explore and play, instilling good associations with the grooming experience.
I never have more than one dog with me at any time so I can give them my full attention. This really works, as over the years I have had many clients bring their dogs back to me for repeat grooms, amazed that their dog is so eager and excited to see me!

I offer very flexible hours for grooming appointments, from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week. So for clients unable to bring their dogs during normal 9-5 hours, I currently offer weekday evenings and all-day weekend appointments.
Bespoke Service
My grooming service includes a free initial consultation with your dog present in which I will discuss with you your wishes for every aspect of the groom, from the shaping of your dog's face to the style of their tail. This means your dog is groomed to your specifications and not to mine.

Clip Short
Tiny dog - from £25.00
Small dog - from £30.00
Medium dog - from £35.00
This is the most practical and streamline cut for your dog; the hair is taken to approximately 1cm long all over, with breed-specific scissor shaping to the head and tail unless otherwise requested. Great for active dogs with a tendency to get mucky or as a cooling summer cut.
Teddy / Puppy Cut

A popular choice for very young dogs and curly coated breeds, this cut leaves the coat a little longer than the Clip Short and the overall effect is extremely appealing, giving your dog a fluffy or 'teddy' look. This is also often referred to as a 'puppy' cut.
Breed Styling

Breed-specific clipping and scissoring, but taking into account any variations on the usual style that you may wish to make - this is bespoke grooming after all!
Puppy Groom

Is your new puppy looking ready for their first haircut and aged under 6 months? Or are you worried that a full groom might be too overwhelming for them just now? If so, why not book them in for their very first Puppy Groom, which will give them a positive taster of the full experience, get them used to being handled and to being up on the grooming table.
The groom lasts approximately 30 - 45 mins (depending on the amount of scissor work required) and typically includes face/ears, tail and body shaping using scissors/thinners with the option of nail clipping at no extra charge.
Bath and Fluff Dry only (incl. puppies)

Maybe your dog has rolled in something 'interesting' while out on a walk, or maybe they're a short-haired breed that's shedding and just needs a good freshen up; my Bath and Fluff Dry option also has the added benefit of helping get rid of a surprising amount of loose hair from your dogs coat.
This is an ideal option for very young puppies as a introduction to part of the grooming process and helps them become accustomed to the sound of the dryer and to being brushed.
Interim Trim

The recommended time between regular grooms is 6-8 weeks. But that's a long time to wait when you start noticing those little tufty bits growing back after a couple of weeks!
Book in for an Interim Trim and I can give your dog a quick scissor tidy-up to prolong that just-groomed look.
Nail Clipping
Tiny or Small dog - £6.00

I am happy to clip your dog or cat's nails (incl. dew claws) for you as a stand-alone service; feel free to contact me for an appointment.
Nail clipping is included as standard on all full groom services (only carried out if nails are deemed in need of clipping).
Cat Grooming
From £12.00
If your long-haired kitty is prone to matting or struggles in warmer weather to keep cool, get in touch to book them in for a belly and/or rear clip appointment* and they will be feeling more comfortable and cooler in no time!
Claw clipping can be included in the same appointment at no extra cost.

* This is of course subject to the temperament of your cat...!
*PLEASE NOTE.....

*All prices listed above are for guidance only and can vary depending on your dog's breed and coat thickness, as this can significantly affect the drying time.

*If your dog's coat is matted it may be necessary to clip the coat short before bathing to remove the matting - I will contact you before I do this to advise you (unless already agreed before the groom commences) and you may choose to either cease the groom or continue. Please note that there is an additional charge for matting removal due to the time involved.

* I am currently unable to cater for large or extra-large breeds due to limited room inside the Cabin.
